The reason behind an aerobic maintenance contract is to insure the proper use and operation of your system. The maintenance contract is required for the life of an aerobic system by the County in which you reside. The maintenance provider that you hire to service your system is legally obligated to service your system in accordance with the state and County laws. If a maintenance provide does not show up to maintain your system, they are subject to fines and legal consequences just like the property owner.
It is the property owner’s responsibility to inform their County of any maintenance provider not doing their job.
